Torben Wendt's band is back. As a presentation for their new record, "A Different Life" Diorama release their presentation single "Synthesize Me", in an ep format, with four different versions of the main song. A perfect mixture of synth pop & dark wave, Diorama keeps up the dense bases contrasting with the ever-delicate keyboard work. ALthough it is not one of the most brilliant songs Diorama has produced, it maintains the German band's peculiarity that has given them success in a highly archetypical dark electronic scene. The Mcd also includes three extra songs, where the Depeche Mode-esque "Truth and movement" needs a special mention. Although it is nothing unexpected, it counts with a distinguished production and maintains the high quality of the band. Now its up to waiting if "A Different Life" will corroborate its inclusion of something 'different' in Diorama or not
