DIORAMA - amaroid

side-line

The new full length of Diorama holds on to the sound that we´ve been used to hearing and, which reminds us once again of Diary of Dreams. They don´t have the same popularity as Diary of Dreams, but their sound always touch me much more! "Amaroid" diversifies the electro-gothic moods and arrangements, which have been overloaded with certain state of sadness and melancholy and a few more danceable and harder cuts. This "club" - approach has been never that explicit, but don´t expect to hear real punching floor killers. It´s just that songs like "The girls" and especially the cool "Prozac junkies" reveal a less explored side of the band. Other songs like "Logic friends", "Dear brother", "Random starlight" and "Odyssey into the vacuum" are real masterpieces in refinement and achievement. This is the real sensitive side of Diorama, which can only touch you by the dreamy touch of the writing. Diorama doesn´t really reinvent their sound, but just evolves in maturity and the emotional content of their work! A minimalist, but englightening production!
